Lovely light and BG. The rock to the right works well to anchor the image and show the landing spot. Would have been even better had the near wing been up just a little more.

Excellent image. Spectacular landing pose. Beautiful colours, nice details and composition.

A beauty Dennis, like the landing pose, and the rock does seem to anchor the image. Beautiful light and background.

Bummer about the right wing being partly shaded. Would've been awesome otherwise.
Still a very nice landing pose and I would like to see more of the perch actually.

Hi Dennis, very nice landing image with great details. Yes, it is a little pity that the eye is partially shaded and the right wing also. I'm surprised that you could freeze the motion for this landing shot at 1/1600. Loi
