The colors work very well, and I like where the bird is vertically, but I'd suggest moving it to the left side of the frame.

I agree with Dennis to have the bird flying into the frame instead of out. As always, you have beautiful cloud backgrounds!

    Dennis,

Thanks for the suggestion. Does this work any better?

p.s. This was taken at Ft DeSoto. I tried to find the owls, but I had very little time. After a short search, I gave up and hit the beach. As I was leaving, I met a photographer (of the "Big" glass) and asked him. As you had suspected, he had heard that they were then out of the nest but had not looked himself. Thanks for the directions that you sent. If I had been able to get to DeSoto a few weeks earlier, I might have found them...

    I think so.

Fort De Soto seems like a great place. It's too bad you didn't get there in time to see the little owls, but this was a good capture, and I imagine you got others, as well.

Lovely cloud effect and the complementary colors are excellent. Position in RP works much better (but the bird seems to have acquired a bit of a third wing!)

    Sandy,

I am embarrassed! Yes, I rushed and did not notice it. Can I talk you into thinking it a rare new species... I guess not. Yes, I will fix it as soon as I get back to my computer.

    Thanks for pointing it out!
