    Here's a better look at the Tree Swallow's nest. You can see the hole below her as she sits at the open top that both adults use as current entry/exit point and vantage point to survey the surroundings.

    Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/160s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld (lens braced against another tree), FF, toned down the leaves at bottom as well as some brighter parts of the tree.

    What an amazing opportunity and nest you have here, Daniel. Love your choice in comp and the soft, green environment really makes this nest site special.
