    Nice frame Will. I am not familiar with this species - is that a shadow across the bird's left flank? If yes, then I would try to 'soften' and blend it away. Regards, Ian

    It does look like the rear half of your finch is in the shade indeed. Almost a perfect HA as well.
    I can see a little more room on the left side. Well done mate, looking forward to more images.

    Sweet looking bird, and I like the background a lot. Bummer about the shadow cutting in so abruptly and a bit better head angle would have been super. Nice details, and I like the diagonal position of the perch.
