This Orchard Oriole enjoying an Amelanchier berry was photographed in a light fog, through a window.

    Thanks, Stuart.

The conditions were not great for IQ, but I thought that the image of the bird actually eating a berry was worth sharing.

    Hi Norm,
Always nice to see a bird and a berry together.
Not bad IQ considering the window and the fog!
i see a blue cast on the blacks that could be easily addressed.
I like your comp but think this would look better with less on top and more on the bottom.
I might be tempted to clone out the little bisected leaf on the RHS.

    HI Norm
If you have space, a rectangular crop in 3:2 would be ideal based on the bird's position in the frame. Agree with blueish cast. Very prominent in the dark of the head. The bird is in a nice pose and could potentially be sharpened some more.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks, Akos.

I've taken some of the suggestions you and Gail made for this repost, and I thank both of you for your comments!
