I was very fortunate the other day to be invited to photograph the peregrine chicks being rung on Bolton town hall- obviously under schd 1 licence. On previous visits I have been on a roof below the nest tray, this time I was on the nest tray ledge(not good if you do not like heights). I had the chance of some eye level shots as the parents screamed around the clock tower as the chicks had their rings fitted. I made the most of the short time we were there and forgot I didn't like heights, concentrating on the birds. 4 young have been rung, all look well apart from one which is much smaller than the others red darvic ring white letter PF if any of you see it , if it fledges.

A classic peregrine pose, well timed (and well tracked!).

A really strong shot of an awesome raptor. I reckon a vertical comp would strengthen this image in a major way.
Sharp as nails. Well done mate!

Excellent dynamic pose with great eye contact, I would desaturate the sky a tad

    What a wonderful opportunity.
Tack sharp. I could see this as a vertical.
    Very powerful image.

Killer image and pose!!! Agree on a slight deSAT of the sky. This could probably work in vertical too. Whatever works best for you.

I like the eye contact, exposure, IQ and interesting pose. I agree with going vertical and desaturate the sky a bit. Excellent image Ivan!
