From a recent shore bird outing. Birds were few and flightly but finally this one brave soul decided that I was no threat and foraged very close to my chosen spot.
Thanks for looking and for comments. I appreciate them all.

Spot on high key capture, Grace. I like the sweeping action with the bill (just the right amount of motion blur in lower bill) , the frozen splash and water droplets.

Very cool! I love how you gave room for the splash to spill and the bill to swing into. Good high-key treatment.

Excellent, perfect exposure, and love the composition. My only wish is that I was there!

All said above -- great high key, perfect splash. Is there any more canvas below? The reflection is wonderful but feels a bit crowded to the frame edge.

Really nice Grace. All been said!
I might be tempted to add a couple of points of blacks to the bird in selective coloring to give the bird a little bit more "oomph" while retaining the high key feel.
