The Gulf water had a beautiful green/blue hue this weekend. and the Skimmers have finally returned in numbers. This one was cropped from horizontal.

Hard to pic away at a superb shot Robert, excellent! No flash used? I am guessing no, well done.

Nice topshot. A bit tight in the frame for me.

Great details Robert. Lovely HA, a wee bit tight in the frame for me aswell. Great work and thanks for sharing.

Well exposed, good details, and yes the water colour looks fantastic! I agree the cropping is a bit tight, but all else is A-1.

Gorgeous flight shot! I like the tight crop as it shows more detail in the bird. Not much context appears to be excluded by the crop.

Tight for me too, but pretty darn good otherwise. Was the light coming from the left side? It just seems the head is really dark, like there's a slight shadow on it. Maybe it is that dark.
    Congrats mate!

I think you've balanced the whites and balcks very well - and got a decent pose against a sea that offsets it all well.

Great topside view and nice details, I might try to bring out just a tad more detail from the blacks on the head

Thanks for the replies, I made another version a little smaller in the frame and slightly more light on the head.
