I had a real blast at the puffins this year, unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant, you will see a few spots of rain here and there. I have lots of these in various poses and backdrops - hope I don't bore you with them!

Hi Jon, love the flight pose with the curved body and peeking between the wings. Well exposed on the blacks, and I do like the detail and colours on the face and beak.

100-400 II New Toy ??????? If so congrats.

Jonathan like the way you have caught this, dangling feet and up turned wings, like this a lot.

REally nice pose with the way the wings curl. Lucky the eye is visible. :)
Not great light, but doubt you see much sun in that part of the world :D

I love the Puffin's pose and the subtle shades on face. The background is superb giving a sense of place and environment. However the bottom LHS of image seems to have repeat patterns. Whether these are natural or as a result of cloning then either way it might be a good idea to remove the patterns that are repeated.

Well spotted Adrian, I usually check for repeat patterns - you are quite right, there was a puffin slightly out of focus in the corner, I cloned it out.

Very nice capture, Jonathan. Like the wing position and those orange feet. Well done.
