    took this on a overcast day at WTP , just getting used to the mighty 1dx

    Impressively sharp, and lots of detail for a shot on a FF body and a 500 mm lens; the bird must have been close to you, making the shot quite a bit more difficult. I might go with a bit more space all around the bird.

    Not bad at all considering the size of this little speedster and the fact that it was overcast. Lots of nice feather detail and a clean sharp head. To bad he didn't look up at you, would have taken this up quite a few notches. I agree about a bit more space, especially the bottom, for him to look into. Nice capture
