    Clematis (claire de la lune) from the front garden. A composite of a through focus series (stack)
    D800E 200mm f7.1 1/200 iso 100 two remote flashes 16 images stacked with Zerene by PMax. Most of the pollen specks removed.

    Gorgeous! It's almost abstract, with the white BG and pale but sharply-defined petals. Makes me wonder how it would look with the stem removed....

    Thanks, Diane. I will give removing the stem a go. I had considered it, and now will.

    I,ve gone down the road of stem rempval but It never seems to look right with my stuff. Give it a try !

    I did give deleting the stem a try and it looked all wrong. Will try to make the stem a little more photogenic instead. Thanks.

    Another beauty, Ron! Lovely lighting and excellent detail! I like how the central portion of the flower practically jumps out at you! The stem isn't bothering me.
