    The season had recently begun, here is a courting couple. A soon as one returned from the sea there would be a great deal of chattering and head swinging between the pairs. The trick was to note when one left so it was possible to be ready for the return.

    Very nice catch! I wonder about bringing out a little more detail in the whites, but maybe not possible with the soft light.

    Excellent image. It is very difficult to get much detail from the whites with these birds. In fact you have done well with what you have since their head and neck plumage feathers are so white and smooth.

    Nice looking scene and interaction here Jon. I like the natural environment showing well and the mute covered nest looks cool also. The whites look good to me also but I feel a bit more sharpening will help. Well done

    Since they seem pretty symmetrical with their interaction, I could also see them centered in the frame. That would work for me too.
