Default Grey Seal in sweet light

Hi all try to stay on the seal path for the moment as there seem to be only African Wildlife in the pipe .........
Here is another one from Donna Nook taken in 2010 .
In this case this male seem to enjoy the warm sun that just came over the horizon and tinged everything in this winter orange/red warm light .
So i stayed with the color as per original , even if i was thinking about reducing the orange/red component for more neutrality . But then i would have lost the original feeling of the shooting conditions .

    Canon EOS 1D MK IV
    EF 800 IS L
    Tripod

    F 10 ; Iso 3200 ; 1/100 sec ; man exposure

Processed with DPP 4 and PS CC ; cropped and rotated for comp , some gardening in the BG to get rid of some parts of other seals along the edges of the frame .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous thread

    Cheers Andreas

    Hello Andreas,

I just love the colours here and the pose from your subject! Nice POV and eye contact.

Stunning light, this is nice and sharp - whew, cannot believe you achieved this at 1/100s, well done Boet!

Great PP work my friend, congrats:)

    Wishing you a great week,

Hi Andreas - another nice seal image in beautiful light with nice sharpness and detail. The pose here just isn't as exciting as your last post.

Hey Andreas - sweet light/colours here indeed, nice low angle and a quirky look makes it an interesting image that can hold its own among a myriad of wildlife from other regions in the gallery
