On my recent pilgrimage to Point Pelee, I was taken by these Fungi which seemed to be all over the place. I have been intrigued by Denis's iPhone images and took this with my 4s. I cropped and rotated to my liking in phone. Then I sized it and converted it to two of my favourite effects "Clean" & "Spicify".
    Thanks for looking

Very nicely composed and processed. Super combination of colors, too. The narrow brown border helps to tie everything together. At Point Pelee this time of year, you were probably looking for warblers, but these were a good find.

Love this Paul. The image on the diagonal, the deeper colours, and the textures that you brought out on the fungi, terrific!

Really nice! I especially like the perspective with the closest fungi large and prominent, and then your eye is moved diagonally upward back along the decaying log. I also like that you show the entire habitat of the fungi, and yet all that bkgd detail is not distracting. Chalk up another nice image with the iPhone!

Love the colors, the glow, the details. The dark blue-black seems to glow. Beautiful textures. Great composition. Your image shows off the fungi the way I imagine them when I see them, but which I never have been able to capture.
