    Default Burrowing Owl - Up Close and Personal

    Thanks to Doug Brown for introducing me to these beautiful little birds. This one landed so close it's an almost full frame shot, which makes it a little tighter than I would like.

    Hi David Do agree its a little tight Do like the pose and low angle. The lighter part of the bg is a bit distracting. LIght was harsh when the image was made. Would increase contrast particularly the lower half of the bird !! Fun birds to photograph !!!

    I like the inquisitive look and clean BG. Adding to Al's comments, I might apply some NR on the BG.

    very nice shot David, maybe a little less exposure would give the light more balance with some pp.

    Love the alert pose and great eye contact but agree on the harsh lighing. Many thanks for sharing David.
