    Looks just a little over sharpened and seems to be lacking any real detail in the folded primaries.
    I love the perch and BG. Really beautiful. And not mentioning the shiny blue plumage. Lovely photo Tim!

    Beautiful pose and lichen-covered perch. Nice green BG. I could see the subject smaller in the frame, and I do see some colour noise on the plumage on the back and head.

    Lovely subject, pose, perch and BG. I do see a version of this bird slightly smaller in the frame and a little more to the left, since he appears a bit centered. Your exposure looks spot on with great details in the chin and blacks. I agree the bird appears to be slightly oversharpened. The tail feathers I am guessing are OOF b/c they are not on the same plane as the bird's head.

    Beautiful pose, and a very attractive perch. I like the background here. Agree thete is a lack of detail in the primaries.

    I like the perch, pose and clean BG. I agree with comments above regarding sharpening and DOF issues.
