    Default Heron?

    Hello,

this year in February, I have photographed this heron in Venice Rockery, but, what heron is this?

Nice image. I'm wondering if it is a Great Blue Heron White morph.
People from Florida would know for sure.

Hey Frank, I am not the expert, but I would say that is a Juvenile Little Blue heron. The transition from white to Blue can have a "calico" look, I have seen many in that phase lately.

    Juvie Little Blue Heron.
Whites look great and I like the pop of red from the berries,

Whatever kind it is, it has been captured well here. Nice details Frank with a natural looking BG. Good work

Very nice exposure on the whites. I love how it pops against the foliage. As Gail mentioned the red berries. They sure add to the scene.

I like the dark BG, exposure, sharpness, berries and composition. Well done Frank.

I'd say a young Little Blue Heron too.

Nice image with a neat surrounding. The whites work well against the dark BG. There are a few bright spots that I would not hesitate getting rid of if mine.
