I had thought of this little wren as an elusive bird, but this one was chattering and flitting around in a stand of marsh reeds right where we had chosen to park the car. For a minute I thought he would fly into the open window. Most of the time he was partially obscured by one or more reeds, but here he gave me a clear look. I liked the simple color palette of this frame.

Lovely image Bill and I think you are right about the colour palette, nothing to jar the eye just concentrate on the bird. I know what you mean about being elusive. I was sitting about 5 ft from one the other day and it was giving me a lovely display, only trouble was no camera. I havn't seen one since! Thanks for sharing.
Bird looks great, feather detail is very nice. Great work with the flash, looks like it really helped show the morning dew on the bird's head. I really like the perch and that bottom middle toe nail. My only crit. is that reed in the BG going through the bird's head.
