Hi Morkel - What a fierce, down the barrel stare! Nice low pov too. It all works for me. Looks like it was a successful quick trip.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Morkel, love the dappled light on the leopard. Colors are spot on. Wish mine is this good! Loi

Hi Morkel a very fine portrait with lots of impact , caused by this really nice specimen of a Leopard . .
As colors are subjective , from my POV i might reduce the yellows a fraction and open up the image slightly from the shadows to the 1/4 tones , but masked for sure to avoid an overall lightness shift .

Love this one , fine work , TFS Andreas

Eish Morkel!!! If this was my first sighting of the trip I would have also called this leopard " Dayone", or rather " Day One"!

    I like "Steely Stare"
... You have captured so well the essence of this animal's character, and from capture to PP work to title, it all works for me. This is no ordinary leopard and there's something dark and mysterious about him. Interesting how those words we employ to "frame" our images, as well as the lighting and atmosphere can add to the meaning, to the power of suggestion of a particular frame.

In terms of processing I think you have done a great job, I personally would not change anything. Love the framing and POV and the colours look good to me. I would be interested to see an RP from Andreas, although I do understand where he is going with his suggestions.

I truly enjoyed viewing this Morkel - captivating, and it kept me glued to the screen for quite some time

    Have a wonderful evening,
    Gabriela Plesea

He looks like he means business.
What a cracker of a shot Morkel.
I like the POV and the OOF FG lots. Overall, this is most pleasing!
