This large female is one of a mated pair north of Sydney. She was coming in to take a mullet we threw out for her.

Close to full frame shot, taken from a boat.

Beautiful flight capture. Great detail in the wing. The head is nicely framed against the far wing, and the bird stands out well against the water. Lovely range of tones in the wing.

Very nice frame. Great look at the near wing and all the feather detail looks fantastic. I also like the green water color. Looks like autofocus hit the near wing perfectly but the DOF wasn't enough to cover the head all the way. I might selectively sharpen the head one more time. Well done.

Wonderful flight shot of the eagle Akos. Lovely colors of the bird against the dark green of the water. I agree with David regarding a little more sharpening on the head. Thank you for sharing.

Superb head and near wing positioning on this one Akos. Thanks for showing us it. Like the slightly blurredy BG too.
    Well done

Excellent wing position, and I like how the lighter water reflections, front and back, help frame the image.

Beautiful image, Akos! I really love the contrast and detail of the wing against the dark water - and the whites look great also!

    Thanks for sharing, Gerald
