I get a chuckle out of this shot, but I'm eager to hear all comments. I used a Canon 40D, 100 - 400 mm zoom, hand held. Thanks! - Jim

    Hi James,
It looks like this fellow is going for a bubble bath... I like the action here and the composition.. He has good eye contact but his feathers are a wee bit hot...:D also, I would give him more room at the top in case he needs to jump on the incoming waves...:D:p;):) congrats... I like this one...

Hi James !!! Very nice Love seeing Ibises in the surf !!! I like how you waited for the right moment to make the image having he bird fluffing and the wave coming in !! Good head angle and exposure. Whites are right at the edge but would depend on the monitor. For posting on the web I normally don't let my brightest point get much above 240 for safety.

Agree on having more room at the top. Can also clone out the super bright reflections in the foam. I like it a lot !!!

Thanks to all for the comments. But I have a question about the whites. Alfred, when you mention that you don't let the brightest point get above 240, are you referring to the output level? Or is there yet one more thing that I haven't learned about PhotoShop ;-) - Jim
