    Hi Jonathan,
    This image is not working for me.
    The grouse is flying away from you and the grasses (especially the one over the neck) are distracting.
    Nice color palette and environment in this image so I am hoping you have more from this setting,

    Hi Jonathan sadly i have to agree this image does not work ..
    Two main issues for me are the missing sharpness and the shot taken from half way behind the subject .

    I can see where you are coming from Jon. The BG looks good, but, the bird just dont look right.

    Thanks for the comments I knew you wouldn't like the bird flying away, that's OK. I admit it would be preferable to have been flying more toward me but somehow I like this image - it evoked the time I saw or should I say heard it, I span round and fired hence the image. Somehow it seems typical to see the bird flying away and through a haze of grass! I understand your reservations... but I still kinda like it myself
