    Found this little ladybird on a pink rose.

    Canon EOS 7D,canon lens 100mm 2.8,f/7.1,1/250sec,ISO-200, flash,hand held.

    Great find! I think the composition is great! But I wish the right side (as viewed) of the ladybug didn't appear washed out. Was something OOF intervening? Some local contrast work in that area could mitigate it a lot.

    Beautiful image Charlene - love the composition and colours, perhaps wishing for a tad more DOF but still a memorable frame and I just love your ladybird walking on the edge of this delicate rose petal - wonderful work

    Hi Charlene. I love the colors and the curving flow of the flower petal. If all of the beetle's head had been within your DOF, this strong image would be way over the top!
