REally like how you've captured the bird in it's environment.

Will this is a gem you have caught the ambience really well and you got his trousers - very nearly his feet - well done one to be proud of.

    Nice one, Will!

Beautiful detail in the plumage and the colours look great against the heather!

    Thanks for sharing.

This is very nice. I love the dark, moody misty feeling this image evokes.
I really like the composition you chose as well.
IQ is good and the amount of vegetation shown ,really shows the environment nicely without taking away from the bird.
    Well done,
    Gail

Hi Will, lovely low angle and I like this pose. I do like that the Grouse is in the open, and this shows his enviroment nicely. I also like the overall colours throughout the image.

Hi William this is a fine image , love the overall mood and color /tone combo. You caught the bird in a very pleasing setting .
I might sharpen the subject a tiny bit more , for a bit more punch .

You have a wonderful variety of birds you post here !!!

Excellent image William! Great setting and composition. I like the overall feel to the image, IQ and how the head is just clear of the plants.
