The low angle and narrow DOF work well here.

Magic he almost looks like a cute fluffy dinosaur charging into you lens like that! The detail in the head feathers is terrific.

Most unusual, and I love it too, for the reasons mentioned by the others. I really like the separation between the head and the green on the RHS.

Very nice! Love all that fluffyness!
The DOF works here because the head is so nice and sharp and the OOF body just makes the chick seem fluffier.
    Pretty colors as well,
    Gail

Adorable image. I like the contrasting soft greens around young one. Very nice.

Hi Andreas, great 3D here, and the DOF is perfect. Good running pose leaning forward, and I like how the chick is against the blues of the BG.

I wish the tip of the bill was not obscured by the OOF grass. At least that's what I can see, a little green haze over it. Top shot otherwise with nice shooting angle, great detail and a cute fluff ball for the subject.

Hi Andreas - This works great! The dof is spot on and the low pov makes it. Well done!

Great use of DOF Andreas! I like the sharp head, low angle and tight composition.
