Hi Charlene, great close up of this Squacco Heron with his breakfast. He has given you a good head turn to show off his catch, and I like the hint of duckweed in the BG. You could have pushed the ISO to have achieved more ss.

    Hi Charlene,
Nice image of the Squacco Heron - don't get to see them around this way, so surprising to see all the colour in the lords and the bill - breeding colouration I guess.

You could probably frame this a bit less tight - I think the aggressive cropping has probably cost you some image quality and sharpness.

    Looking forward to seeing more.

Nice POV and great catch that adds interest to the image. Good HA and the BG is not distracting.
The image is sharp but not "tack sharp" around the eyes and head. A bit more SS would have been the answer here.
Or the issue could be a large crop causing that area to appear a bit coarse. How big of a crop is this?

Great capture the head turn is nice. I expect cleaner file from my 5DIII, how much of a crop is this of the original frame?

I like the catch, breeding colors, hunting pose and setting. I could see a version with more room around. Nice image Charlene.

I agree a looser crop would've benefited the image quality.
    Beautiful capture with great action!
