Hi William think you got luck with this capture .
I quite like the overall framing , just wish the legs were slightly visible , but i guess it was not possible !!
Nice overall color and detail , i just think the image is a bit light overall . You have clipped the red channel .

As a solution i reworked it a bit to show you a direction i am thinking of .

I like the sharpness, HA, composition and clean BG. I too wish he jumped up onto that rock. Nice image William.

William it would be great if these birds would do just as we would like them to do,nice to get it up on the rocks, like what you have got.

    Hi Will.
Pity about the rock I reckon the bird could stand little USM. No big deal

Lovely composition here. We cannot always whisper them to pop up to the perch to show off those lovely legs. :)
I agree that it appeared a little too bright.
    Nice repost Andreas.

Excellent composition, love all the elements in it but especially the rocks and the colorful smooth background, William.

Nice looking natural image. Looks very similar to our Chukar partridge in the US. I think it's a bit bright on my monitor so I like the repost or somewhere in between. Nice details and BG.

Hi William, super pose high on the rocky perch, and I do like the detail and colours on this fellow. Killer smooth BG too. I feel you could take some off the bottom, so here is my version, as well as applying a slight multiply blending layer.

    Hi Will,

What can I say - "legless"!

I like the crop that Stu has posted - does show the bird in its environment very effectively. Nice image quality and very attractive markings.

    Best regards, Gerald

    Very nice Will.

Stu's RP is the direction I would go, but selectively adjusting the Red & Yellow to via Sat & Selective colour, it just helps I feel the overall look & feel. If you also add the pre set in Curves for Linear Curve it also helps add a bit more definition without going to tech, nice one.

    Steve
