Nice wader shot. I think I would take out the specular highlights in the bG, nd maybe a touch of USM on the head ?

I like the feeding behaviour and the BG wave action. I'm OK with most of the specular highlights but there are two that I would not hesitate getting rid of: the one almost touching the belly and the brightest one of all near the centre of the frame.

I do find all the specular highlights distracting and would clone out several of them especially the 2 brightest ones,

Thanks everyone for viewing, commenting and offering suggestions. I cleaned up most of the specular highlight leaving only enough to provide a feeling of the surf.
