Taken a couple of weeks ago, I was surprised that this guy stayed perched on the fence post as I slowly drove by...these guys are normally quite skittish here. I have some more images with the face more in profile, but I thought this pose give the vulture a more grumpy, foul weather type look:). I wish the distant trees were taller and fuller, but sometimes you take what you get.
