Gorgeous Jonathan, superb detail, colours look spot on and I love the 'stark' contrast of the white blossom/flowers set against the vibrant background.

All works oh so well IMHO. A fine portrait!

This colorful bird is nicely framed by the flowering branches. The background is just as beautiful.

Hi Andreas, yes it did and thanks again, I am beginning to realise there is a lot more to luminosity than I first recognised

Jon you will be surprised what is all possible with them , if you are open minded , what you have on video is just very basic !!!! What you do with an image , can you do with lumo masks and even more , a very cool and unpayable helper for all sorts of edits , from tonal/color /sharpening to local contrast . Just mask !!!!!!

Cheers and glad you like what you have received from the ............ Andreas

Beautiful image of a striking bird Jonathan. Your European goldfinch is much showier than our version here in the US, and I envy you that. The blooms on the perch are lovely, too. Excellent head angle and fine detail and sharpness on the bird's head and the flowers. The sharpness in those areas is so crisp it makes me want more of the same on this side of the bird's body.

    Excellent!

Gorgeous shot of a beautiful bird on a spectacular perch -- he looks like he knows he deserves the best!

One of my favourite woodland birds, great setting. It's pretty rare that central placement works, but you got it right here

The background bokeh is beautiful; one of the most pleasing backgrounds that I have seen. I love the way the purple hues of the BG compliment the dorsal feathers. If any of the flowers had been OOF; it might have caused a slight distraction but everything is just perfect. I would display this image in my home. steve

Super image Jonathan. A beautiful background, The perch is about ideal. A very nice body position and head turn.

Cracking frame Jon. Fantastic details throughout the frame. I like the placement of the bird in the centre as the branch behind it compensates perfectly. Great work

Agree with all the above. Super set-up with perfect pose, colors. The BG is so good that I wouldn't mind seeing more of it by way of more canvas to the left, for a horizontal comp.

This is definitely one of the very best setup frames I have seen in a while and one of your very best frames in all. Everything is perfect, including the square comp. Very nice Jon.
