It's the time of the year when warblers are returning to their breeding grounds - quite an exciting time! The Palm Warblers like bog-like habitat for nesting, and this individual is right on cue at one of our local bogs. As one of the first warbler species to show up, the freshly budding tamarack provides early spring-time context to the environment it frequents.

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/5.6, ISO 400, natural light, handheld, cropped for comp, darkened the pupil and lightened the iris, destaurated the more vibrant yellows. Audio used.

Hi Daniel besides the already mentioned crossing tail/perch this image does look great .
Lovely colors and overall tones , and the very clean BG makes this a very pleasing image .
    Very good detail extraction .

    TFS Andreas
