This is an other image of the Virginia Rail.
I removed a few grass blades in front of the body, to get a cleaner presentation.
    Thanks for looking.

    Karl:

Nice shooting angle, angle in frame. I might consider sharpening the face just a bit more. The bill looks sharp enough.

I have had to luck with rails!

    Cheers

Hi Carl sweet dynamic pose the Rail . Nice overall framing and good colors / tonal range .
I just feel the image is not 100 % sharp , looks like you have some motion blur due to subject movement /SS.But i could be well wrong.

Nice clear shot of this elusive bird. Colors and details look great Karl. Well done

A nice pose and environment. I might think about a slight gradient burn from the top.

These guys can respond really well to call, at least for me. Neat pose and grassy habitat. I agree the face (or at least the eye) seems to have a bit of motion blur in it.
