Same individual, a few seconds earlier. A bit of a funky pose, but I like it - and I think I like the BG better in this one

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/3200s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, cropped fro composition, lightened under the wing, NR to the BG as well as darkened the bottom part of it. Audio used.

Killer opportunity, and you made the most of it. Love the color palette and those tootsies! Only wish for a better wing position on the near wing.

Excellent detail, good light the background colours are superb. The wing positions are fine for me and the shadowed near wing helps give form to the bird. Nice work Daniel.

    Daniel:
Nice angle in frame, great view of the feet, excellent bg.

I actually like the far wing better than the near because of the lighting and better detail shown.

    Cheers

Superb flight shot. Like a few said only a better wing position would had been over the top, but still a superb image I wish I had!. I love those dangling feet and sweet BG.

Nice flight frame Daniel! I really like the warm color pallet and the nice look at the head and the dangling legs. Sharp and well exposed. Nice capture

Very nice BIF, great comp, color and tones. The lighter bottom part of the bg really helps also.
