This isn't very OOTB, but maybe enough to squeak by here. The original is in Macro and Flora. B/W courtesy of Silver Efex and some Glamour Glow and I think a touch of Soft Focus in CEP. Then the light vignette added back in LR.

There is something so pretty about this, the softness, the branches lilting on the diagonal. Great detail in the center, and the soft texture of the petals are enhanced by the GG and Soft Focus. Very seductive and inviting.

Beautifully done. I don't know if I'd have considered a dogwood in black & white, but it sure works. In fact, it was a great idea. The composition is very nice, too. The whole image has a delicate feel that seems so right for a dogwood blossom.

I went to look at the color version. I like this one better. It eliminates the distraction of the OOF blossom, and the bit of damage to to lower left petal. Nice composition. The diagonal lines of the branches create interest and ground the flower. I know you were going for a soft look, but I wonder about a bit more black in some areas, such as the center of the flower.

Thanks, everyone! I'll have a look at more contrast in the blossom (especially the center) and maybe the in-focus leaf just behind it, holding back on the stem in the LL. That could be good!

Now I see the part of the leaf top center looks blown out. Will see about fixing that, too. The paint never dries...

Very good. That needs to be quoted somewhere.

Lovely high key image. I checked out the version in the macro section, but I like this one better. Even though we think of color in spring, the monochrome really works here.
