    Well focused and good detail, the almost prerequisite head turn is evident. I would suggest toning down the highlights a little around the eye and in a perfect world a finer branch would have made a better perch, ideally one with a few leaves or mosses to provide a little added interest.

    Sweet looking gal with a perfect head turn. I like Jon's suggestion about the brighter areas around the eye. I am fine with the perch...even when "normally" too thick they work nicely when anchored along the bottom edge of the frame like you have here. I would have pointed my lens a bit more to the right though to un-center the subject. Nicely done overall.
