    I captured this guy at the entrance of the nest hole.
    Activity is very low if any right now but it will pick up when the eggs hatch.

    Hi Karl, well exposed, sharp, and I like that we can see the hole. Comp wise, I would maybe take a bit off the LHS, so as not to show the sky.

    Another good WP image. I like it overall, but I'd prefer no sky showing in upper left corner (there is just not enough of it to include IMO), and I'd like blend out the two oof branches touching the head. All else looks super.

    Nice one Karl, I love these birds they so much look like the cartoon character Woody the Woodpecker. I agree with Stu's suggestion regarding cropping the left side. Thank you for sharing.

    I like the sharpness, HA, exposure and good view of the nest cavity. I like Stu's composition suggestion. Excellent image Karl!
