Jim that is inspirational! The pin sharp head and slight movement of the wing tips brings the image to life. Couple that with a turtle and you get one super image.

Underwing detail, creamy BKGR, and those log skinny talons are magical. Do you know if he had already started eating the turtle?

Top shelf Jim. Beautiful sharpness and exposure. Excellent background, and the turtle takes it over the top.

One of my favorite raptors...beautiful bird and I have never seen it with a turtle. Technically it is outstanding...as usual from you. The snack is such a great bonus here. Well done.

What an awesome frame Jim! The visible turtle head adds a lot to the overall impact, but the rest of the image is top notch too!
