    Redstart (Male)
    Redstart coming in to drink. Recognise the perch ???- and those leaves again. Your views on them appeciated.

    One from this morning. Things are hotting up a little at the pools.Maybe its the fairly long dry spell

    Nikor 70-300mm
    800 ISO
    180th sec @f9
    Slight crop.
    Very little else done

    Very good John, I like the way the bird seems to be looking directly at you, wondering what you are up to.

    Lovely setting and pose. Just a tad large in the frame for me, suggest a little noise reduction on the background and desaturate the image a little.

    A nice shot, John with a striking pose.

    As for the leaves, I like them as they seem to add a 'framing' for the bird.
