    Taking at the Everglades. D1X and 400/5.6 EDIF with 1.4x, f8.@1/1000, iso 400, exposure comp +1/3.

    very nice Rick, exposure is right on IMO. Maybe a bit high in the frame, but only for my taste.
    very peaceful with all the good qualities.....no harshness

    I too would like to see it bigger, but as is I see white patches on either side of the egret that could be taken care of. The midtones could go brighter it seems.

    Very nice pose, setting and head angle. Adding to the other comments, the BG looks a bit noisy.
