    Avian Little ringed plover

Little fellow was cruising on the beach early morning, looking for food.

Cute subject, and I like some of the shells. Critical focus seems to be on the tail area, with the face rendered softer than ideal. The dark spot in the BG is also unfortunate as it draws the eye there. Your exposure is spot on, and I like the low angle.

Exposure is just right and I like that you were shooting from a low angle. However, in this case your low angle gives you that black "thing" in your background. Therefore, I would have maybe tried to move to the right to get rid of that or stand up a little bit. Focus looks alright but I think you need to do some more sharpening on your bird. I like seeing the bird in its environment with all of the shells.
