    Default Who Am I?

What was your first guess? I would love to hear your answer.
This is the 3rd nest of the season. This pair is not close to urban area. They are not used to people being around. I spent an hour there, only have taken this a few shots, packed up and leave them alone. Due to work, I was unable to go back and spend more time with this pair.
It was a quick split second stare and she went back into the cavity. I am sure by now the babies are active and ready to fledge. I hope they make it.

This is one of my top pics of all you screechie pics. Love your choice in lighting. It's small in the frame but clearly tells a story And it brings a smile to the viewers face. For me this is a contest image. You took what you felt was going to be a slow night and brought home a winner.

Troy, great picture, very playful. At first glance it looks like a cat but too many whiskers. Love your series of Screech Owl shots.

I like to imagine the lighting is caused by the full moon, very cool effect. It does indeed look cat-like here. Nicely executed.
