    Default Moorhen feeding chicks

This image was taken in tricky conditoins with the brown murky water of a canal and bright sun, partly shaded by trees. I sorta like the second chick bottom right but not sure if it detracts from the overall scene.

Hi Mike, I like your image and the behavior. I think the photo would be more appealing if you crop out the second chick and focus on the behavior. To me the other chick is distracting and draws my eye away from the main subject. steve

I agree with Steve -- the mother and chick being fed are the story. A little cropping and cloning would be easy.

The color and reflections on the murky water are very artistic. A nice, sharp capture and good tonalities, in addition to a great story.
