    Sedge warbler
    I make no appologies for the IQ on this but I kept it as a pleasant habitat/ arty type shot ,which is notreally me scene. I haven't got many songbird singing stuff anyway.
    Suppose you could call this an enviro shot. They never sit out in the open for me !

    I like the warmth and vividness of the colours. Quite the lush setting. The overall IQ of the image looks fine to me and has a great sense of where this fella lives, its just that it would have been better with the subject sharper. Thanks for sharing!

    Yes I agree. Tried sharpening the head but seemed to be worse.Its one of those pics that doesn't like pixel peeping !!Looks ok from a distance maybe!

    Love the environment shot John, more and more these appeal to me over and above flight and portrait shots. If anything I just wish their was more light and detail on the warbler. TFS

    I love what you were going for here with this environmental. There is so much too like but the one grass and the sharpening as Daniel mentioned are issues. What's most important however is that you are envisioning and creating these environmental images.
