One of the 4 males here that rule over the Kusini kopje pride posing at dawn to the bonus of a descending full moon.
Just a wonderful area to regularly photgraph a lion pride in this habitat.

Apologies for the long break as I have been experiencing major HDD/PC problems, but finally resolved, and now look forward to a 3+ week trip to Costa Rica on Monday, catch you later.
Hi Marc,
Very nice photo. I like the composition very much.
In the past we had lions in Iran, but unfortunately it's about 100 years that they were extincted. :(

Amir
Hello Marc !! Grand Settings here , loved the placement of the subject and overall mood in the image. The trees on tallest part appears high on contrast but i really enjoyed viewing this image . TFS
Good evening, and sorry to come in so late, been away at the weekend:)
Lovely framing here and the comp is great, this landscape is awesome and so is the lion in it... Love the inclusion of the Moon and I guess its presence dictates the mood of your image - I tried a more lighter version, not sure you will like it but just a feeling I had when viewing...
Beautiful sighting and that sky is sublime, I miss the bush so badly and especially the creatures in it, I experience pangs of jealousy when I see images with lions in them
great image and landscape which goes very well. RP from Gabriela the tad lighter version I like better for this one. Love the moon and colors in the sky.
