    Default Say's Phoebe with Dragonfly

This Say's Phoebe used this perch that we setup every morning for a few months last winter. Lots of fun hanging out with a hungry insectivore for a mornings shoot. It caught many interesting insects like pill bugs, spiders, beetles and dragonflies.
Not sure of the species but it's a pretty cool looking dragonfly. Hope you like it.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. I appreciate it.

As perfect as it gets...great capture, nice image David. I am amazed how tiny the feet appear. Thank you for sharing.

Pretty cool looking image altogether, David.
IQ is superb and the Dragonfly in the beak puts it over the top.

Great capture David. You can almost 'feel' the smooth and softness of the feathers with the sharpness being spot on. Great stuff

Such a nice image. Technically so good, and the dragonfly shows so well. Simple and effective composition. Bang on light angle. The perches coloration goes nicely with the phoebe's plumage too.
