This is another sheep ranch image. This outfit uses Great Pyrenees as sheep dogs. The pups grow up with the lambs. The dog is bedding down with the ewes for the night. Aside from converting to B&W, the sheep were darkened selectively and a gradient blur was applied to the bg sheep.

The dog is placed very nicely with respect to the frame and the light. Both your images and information about this sheep ranch have been remarkable.

Image well framed and all my attention is focused on the Sheep dog - what a proud character!

Lovely light and composition, enjoyed viewing, thank you Gary

Gary, I love this - the lighting, the context, the expression of the dog - very nice image

Nice! Love the light on the dog, and the rounded shapes all around. Our neighbor has dogs like these with his sheep.

Thanks to all for the look and comments. The afternoon at the ranch produced some of my favorite images to date. Perhaps there is something other than birds. You folks have been a great help and inspiration in expanding my horizon.

Very nice work, I love it. The dog is the focus and the sheep help making him so. Thanks for the email you sent me, sorry I haven't replied earlier.
