    Default Golden-fronted Woodpecker neighburs

I shall say room mates...a woodpecker couple made a nest literally a few meters from our bedroom window in a Maya nut tree. I am very happy to have these room mates. Here is a shot from this afternoon from a tent hide.

What a great opportunity for you! I'd have a hard time leaving home if that happened here. Nice light, alert pose, prey item. The nest hole looks to be on a nicely weather tree. Do you have any chance of moving to your left for subsequent outings, or are there distractions to your right?

Hi Dan. Thanks for commenting. I do not have space on the left and I can't go behind either. I have room to the right though.
Great opportunity for sure...bummer I am leaving home for a month work at the capital:(.
