    Default Brown Creeper

    I liked the pose of this, extremely fast, Brown Creeper. The lighting wasn't the best, as it had turned quite dull when the opportunity presented itself, but you take what you can get some days.
    I used Lightroom to do a little cropping as well as some exposure adjustments.

    Tough little birds to capture. Good pose on the bird. The trunk sort of overpowers the bird, but emphasizes how small these guys are. Still, I might be tempted to crop to a vertical pano format to reduce half the trunk.

    I think the crop could work with some taken off bottom and right. Great species, one that always makes me smile when I see or hear (but rarely photograph successfully!!). I love the leg positions, and great that it gave you a good head angle - these guys often look away. A touch of fill-flash would have been excellent here IMO.

    Congratulations on getting this tough bird. I like the clean BG, HA and perch. I like Bill's composition suggestion. Well done Bill.
