This guy fortunately gave me several chances as he made many dives. Finally got him nicely just as he surfaced with a tiny fish!

Great timing and action. The droplets add to it. It's a bit tight in the frame and it seems as if the bird is a bit blurred or is it a heavy crop? Keep them coming.

Excellent timing !!! Must have been an exciting capture I think it would look better with less of a crop When cropping the image might try bicubic sharper Tends to give better results than smoother

Fantastic capture, Kingfishers or at least the belted variety we have here are exceedingly tough caprures, for me at least.
And getting this action,, simply super. And if this is not ff, I, too would like more space around him.

Judging at the small size of that fish, I believe you when you say it dove often! ;-)

    Great timing on this.

Nicely captured image but as others have mentioned I would have liked less of a crop.

Great action and wonderful colors, bird does seem a bit soft.

Wonderful timing and a very unique composition but I agree that a larger crop would strengthen this image. Thanks for sharing Chris.

Well captuerd action Chris ! I had tried thi kind of imagery in past. All I can say it is tough. Wish it is more sharper but then it is not easy !! I would leave a little more space.
