Hi Ben - Good action captured and nice that we can see both faces. What time of day was this captured? It seems a bit warm and also dark to me. I did a very quick adjustment in levels bringing in the highlights slider until just before they clipped and also opening the midtones a bit. It is still very warm but not as dark. WDYT?

    TFS,
    Rachel

    Hello Ben,

Great action captured, I like the aggression/facial expressions as well as the jackal's feet off the ground.

From what I have seen, squabbles between jackals are usually quick and the conflict is solved with both parties walking away without significant wounds - I would like to know what happened here next:)

I would assume this was taken either early morning or late afternoon, the light and environment remind me of the Kalahari. Some of my images look similar and I often had to reduce what I felt looked like excessive warmth and quite deep shadows - if this were mine it would probably end up looking similar with Rachel's RP.

The framing is great, Ben. Sharp where needed. Nice POV. All in a all a super action shot, I really enjoyed viewing, TFS!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Ben ! Lovely Action here , and i would also go with Rachels Version! A tad bit of crop from LHS of the frame and also the top is required in my opinion .
